Ice That Remembers

Ice That Remembers enters a glacier as an archive rather than a wasteland. Blue chambers preserve bubbles of ancient air, pollen from vanished summers, stress lines, and water beginning a new journey. Granular synthesis and restrained IDM expose detail without disturbing the stillness, while Hardanger fiddle, tagelharpa, and frame drum give the ice a resonant memory of wood, string, and hand. Its ending accepts change without pretending that loss is simple.
