Root, Reed & Resonance

Eight emotions inside a cavern beneath the forest, told by breath, struck strings and fired earth. An instrument-first acoustic collaboration brings Armenian duduk phrasing into conversation with Persian santur-inspired hammered dulcimer, Igbo-origin udu clay-pot percussion and a modern acoustic melodica voice. These are original cross-cultural arrangements, not reconstructions of a single traditional ensemble. The same four instrumental colours stay in the foreground as curiosity becomes delight, tenderness, longing, unease, anger, hope and belonging.
