The Cloud-Forest Staircase

The Cloud-Forest Staircase climbs without haste. Each landing alters the ecology: fern walls give way to orchids, waterfalls cross the steps, familiar birds vanish, and bells appear inside the cloud with no visible source. Progressive ambient electronica makes the ascent cumulative rather than climactic, while pan flute, marimba, cello, handpan, and evolving arpeggiators keep the stone path warm beneath the mist.
