The Reed-Lantern Passage begins where the marked river ends. A low boat follows lantern reflections into a wetland that continuously rearranges itself: reeds close behind, stone courtyards rise from dark water, herons cross radio static, and gardeners tend floating beds before dawn. Dub techno gives every sound a horizon, slow trip-hop supplies the current, and duduk, hammered dulcimer, clay drums, and melodica keep the journey warm enough to trust.
